An Intensive is a stretch of days set apart for hands-on healing, built for you alone or for you and the people you love. It isn’t a getaway and it isn’t a treat. It’s for when you’ve run yourself down, the usual tools aren’t reaching it anymore, and you need to be properly tended: fed, rested, worked on, and given enough time for something to actually shift.
Most retreats are built around someone else’s calendar, someone else’s teaching, and a room full of people you don’t know. That works in some seasons of life. It doesn’t work in the season where you’re running on empty and what you need is to actually be taken care of.
Arranged from Missoula, Montana and held wherever suits you, an Intensive starts with you: your calendar, your people, your body, and whatever has been wearing you down. It’s yours alone, or shared with the specific people you choose, and every part of it — the bodywork, the herbs, the sessions, the food — is shaped around what you need right now. High touch, low effort. Your only job is to show up.
People have always known that some healing needs more than an appointment. In Ayurveda, it’s panchakarma. In Latin America, it’s the dieta. In ancient Greece, it was the healing sanctuaries people traveled to, to be tended, to rest, and to start undoing whatever had them stuck. The shape is the same each time: a container made for the person, held with intention and a lot of touch, where healing is the only job.
That’s the inspiration here, and I want to be clear that it’s the shape I’m borrowing. I’m not offering those traditions themselves. And I part ways with their harshest parts. I don’t believe in aggressive detoxification, and I don’t want to build a life that has to be detoxed from. What an Intensive brings instead is nourishment, a wise woman herbal principle: you are fed, rested, and tended, not depleted in the name of purity.
For some people the work is undoing a big pattern and finding the way back to who they are and what they’re here to do. For others it’s simpler, and just as real: to feel well again.
Imagine doing this just for yourself — picking a place you've always wanted to go, having every detail handled, and finally getting real, uninterrupted space. Or imagine bringing the people you love most, because what you've actually been craving is connection and being truly seen, together. Either way, it's the same offering underneath: dedicated time, away from a world that runs on hustle, dedicated instead to rest, natural rhythm, and flow.
Your intention matters most here, and everything is hand-tailored around it. Maybe you want to fine-tune your diet. Maybe what you need most is rest. Maybe you're craving space for play and movement. Whatever it is, an Intensive is built around that — not a fixed itinerary everyone moves through the same way.
An individual Intensive, built entirely around your own goals — real alone time and real space, with nothing else asking for your attention.
These can also be arranged for up to 8 people at a time — a curated healing experience for friends and family, tailored to what you're all craving together.
One requirement either way: at least one person attending needs to already be an established personal client of mine, so the trust and groundwork is already there.

Many modalities, one stay: bodywork, herbs, IFS, yoga, plant medicine and more, all under one roof, so you’re not booking five different providers in five different places.
Your travel to and from the location is the one thing not included. I don't usually hold this work in people's personal homes — part of the benefit is stepping outside your normal environment — but I'm willing to work with you if you have a family cabin or similar space in mind.

These reflections are from women who've been through this with me. They asked to stay anonymous, so names here are pseudonyms — but their words are real.
"I came in needing rest and left with so much more than that. Being fully taken care of — food, space, everything — let me actually drop in, instead of just managing my life from a prettier location."
"The food alone would have been worth the trip. Every meal was organic, locally sourced, and so beautiful I kept stopping to look at it before I ate. I have never in my life been fed like that."
"I've done plenty of trips with friends. This was different — there was real structure underneath the ease, and Gabrielle held all of it so gently that none of us had to think about logistics once."
"What surprised me most was how much space there was to just be. No agenda pushing us from one thing to the next — just rhythm, rest, and each other."
We start by talking through what you're working with, who (if anyone) is coming with you, and what kind of space you actually need.
The time itself is built around your intention and traditional principles of rest, simplification, and renewal — not a fixed program everyone moves through the same way.
Groups of up to 8 guests. Everything is included except travel, and the full breakdown is just below. Logistics and timing are worked out individually once we've talked through fit.
Every rate includes all meals, all lodging, all herbal products, and all sessions. The only thing it doesn’t include is your travel to and from the location.
Once there's more than one of you, the rate is per person, and it doesn't go lower than $500 each. That isn't a pricing tactic. It's what the time costs to deliver: every person you add means more lodging, more food, their own sessions, and often another pair of hands, like a yoga teacher or a helper. I'd rather tell you that plainly than quote a group discount that doesn't exist.
* Does the cost feel out of reach? Please reach out anyway. I keep a limited number of discounted sessions open, I'm genuinely open to trade, and there are often creative ways to bring the cost down when both of us have the capacity. Let's have a conversation.
If this sounds like something you're curious about, reach out and we can talk through whether it's a fit.
